Opening the vehicle:
You can only unlock and lock the vehicle using the Emil app. You will find the vehicle key in the glove compartment. Please return it to the holder provided before ending your booking. Otherwise the booking cannot be ended.
Checking for damage:
Check the vehicle for damage: All damage that has not yet been noted in the log (Emil app) must be documented before you start your journey. Failure to check for damage may result in additional charges.
Cleanliness:
If the vehicle is excessively dirty when you pick it up, please report this via the Emil app.
Checking mileage and range:
Before starting your journey, please check the kilometer range to see if it is sufficient for your booking. If the charge level is <10%, you should not start the journey and report this via the Emil app when you end the booking. Please also remember that the faster you drive, the faster the battery will discharge and the range will decrease.
If you have any questions/problems, please contact MOQO, either via the Emil app or via the 24/7 support hotline at +49 241 95788366.
Extension of the booking:
If you want to use the vehicle for a longer period than originally booked, you can extend your booking using the Emil app, provided no subsequent booking is affected. You will then pay for use at the normal rate according to the Price List.
Early return:
If you want to return the vehicle earlier than planned, end the booking in the regular way. You will only be charged for the time actually required.
Late return:
As a general rule, we ask you not to make your reservation for too short a period. You realize you will be late? No problem – but please always report your delay to MOQO’s 24/7 support hotline before your booking expires or try to extend your booking in the Emil app. Please note our late fees.
Charging the electric vehicles:
Please use the charging cable in the trunk to connect the electric vehicle to the charging station in the car-sharing parking lot after each journey. Please use the SWK charging card in the glove compartment for payment and authorization – even if you need to recharge during your journey. In the glove compartment, you will also find instructions on how to charge the vehicle. You can view all available charging stations in the Emil app.
Insurance:
All vehicles are covered by third-party liability and fully comprehensive/partial coverage insurance. Your deductible is limited to €500.00.
What to do in the event of a breakdown:

K. at +49 6241 925215 (please contact them only if the vehicle can no longer be driven). They will initiate towing, repair, or similar measures for you. For further processing, please forward the police file number and the accident report to kontakt@emil-kl.de without delay.
